You can definitely move the brake pedal and shifter to the mid position. It is expensive though. You would have to source all the linkage and replace your inner and outer primary with the fxdb/fxdl style with the sleeve for the shifter shaft. I found this bit of information on google but the thread didn't go into any detail about exactly how it was done but I copied the text.
"Hi, If you dont mind shifting 1st gear up - others down, this is a cheap solution. You get used to it pretty fast. Get a set of used mid controls from ebay. On left side use your fwd shifter but rotate it 180 degrees. Right side just use all mid controls. Cheers from Finland!"

Yeah, I know it CAN be done, I just don't want to re-do the whole primary. Maybe someday I'll swap cases or something but it's not cost productive. The case should have the little door like older WGs to option mids. Interesting on inverting the controls. Is it like driving on the other side of the road in England?
