What did you do to your Dyna today?

Which footboards did you use? The old Dyna Defender cop bike style are wonky & high, but the factory Switchback footboard kit has noticeably more room than a bagger. Anything other than those are glorified, oversized pegs & not even in the same league. I'm only 5'7" & on my old Road Glide, I needed & used highway pegs mounted on the crash bar for kicking back, but on my Super Glide, I couldn't reach crash bar mounted highway pegs if I wanted to.
FWIW, the mid pegs are working out just fine (Now, if I could only figure out how to shift from there as once in a while as well! )
Reduced reach handlebars as well.. Sure that makes it a little tight as well.. Looks good though..
The bars are interior wired and are comfortable as long as I extend the seat's backrest. They are on the list for something a little more appropriate for my 35" arms eventually.

Decided to put my bags back on and also put new pads in the front calipers....***** Shiny chromed my calipers and when he sends them back all you have to do is slip the new pads in and bolt the caliper on. Hope to have everything finished up and back on the road within a week.

I bought the bike in Sept '21 with what I believe were H-D floorboards. The P.O. was a 5'3" lady. I assume they were genuine HD because every other accessory on the bike (except the seat) also came from a dealership. When I sat on the bike the first time, it felt like my knees were level with the gas cap with the floorboards. I pulled off those off and installed 4" extended forward controls and they are even a little 'tight' for me (6'2" and 34" inseam.) Here's a pic of the bike at the sellers house. My sig pic shows the adjustments.

FXDP footboards-
And FLD 'boards-
BIG difference. I don't know how you can stand mid pegs; they're hell on my knees & hips. The FLD footboards are exactly what you need if you're trying to replicate the Road King's ergonomics. Not necessarily cheap, but worth every penny & hands down, the best mod I've done to my bike.

That's the one. Worked like a charm for me. One more thing that may help you. I always try and buy from Hardcore Cycles whenever possible. They always have a discount code running, never charge sales tax and it's always free shipping.

FedEx showed up and I got the intake and PV4 installed, flashed the Fuel Moto tune, cleaned up the new exhaust with some denatured alcohol and fired her up. First thing I noticed was just how loud the TBR pipes were! Second thing was how quiet the top end was. When I was removing the factory exhaust, it was apparent that there must have been a leak at the rear head as the bolts were pretty loose. The little bit of ticking I was hearing and associating to valve noise was actually a leak in the stock system.
Pretty happy with the new PV4, it’s stupid easy. Way more so than what I was familiar with on a KTM 1290 and PCV/Autotune where a laptop was needed. All I had to do with the PV4 was plug it into the bike and whip out my phone and upload the map FM had sent to the app, then flash to bike. Simple. I was kinda disappointed not having the “quick tune” area that is on the older Power Vision units. I think to make any fuel table adjustments I’ll have to find my old PC based laptop that I had for the Power Commander 5 on the KTM.
I was also impressed with the Fuel Moto AC/DC intake. I had never seen one in person and the pics on the web don’t do it justice. It’s a quality piece. I didn’t have time to do the external breather mod, but definitely will.
I do have some decel pop that I want to take care of, not sure how much I’ll be able to get rid of with such a short pipe like the TBR. Pretty confident there aren’t any exhaust leaks, but double checking the joints is on my list today before I take it out again. I had ordered a set of James Gaskets tapered seals and I’m glad I also bought a set from the dealership when I picked up a new exhaust stud. The James’s were smaller than the stock gaskets, looks like they’d be easier to install, but the stock ones slid in easy with a 50mm bearing race install tool and careful prep of the head. The system fit very well, with one exception, the front header could be just a tad longer in the downtube. As it stands now, I can’t run the front heat shield. It makes contact under the foot peg mount. Not really a concern, I like the look without the shields and the heat isn’t noticeable in Kevlar lined Rokker jeans.
Just a short, spirited 50 mile shakedown yesterday evening, but I’m pretty happy with it. No pre install dyno run to prove what hp or torque I gained, but being as loud as it is, sure makes you think it’s faster. 😄

I'm really loving your Bike stand... 300# 3/4 fittings with Schedule 80 nipples??? What's that a 2 1/2" nipple between the 90 and T and what is the length of the throw arm? I'm a Pipe fitter myself....
