We had great special weather today and I got both bikes out. The Dyna immediately reminded me that I need to address the front brake inadequacies.

I come from a Road King with upgraded dual Brembo 4 pots, and the single '02 era caliper on the LowRider stops OK only because I have Jolly Green Giant hands. Huge difference.

I'm wondering if a more aggressive compound pad might do the trick (as I'm just a cruiser, not a racer,) or should I stop looking at the least money fix and instead go with a 6 piston aftermarket like a Performance Machine. (And does that require a different M/C?)

Pondering.

That sounds very interesting. However every time I look up LSD cowboys/research I end up with either a band named acid cowboys or research papers about limited slip differentials 😂. Got a link?

Psychedelics have always fascinated me. I remember reading an article when I was in school about a teenage girl that was diagnosed bi-polar, had daily episodes, all of it. She took a massive dose and ended up in the hospital because everyone thought she was having a seizure. When she woke up the next day all of her bi-polar symptoms were gone, never to come back. It’s crazy stuff.

52° here today - shoveled out my shop and took her for a very brief spin - avoiding salt-nasty-saturated puddles. Pure F*CKING joy!

Still have to wait for the mudd moat around the shed to dry up before it even sees the driveway......usually around April.

I did 2 things today. I painted the outer edge of my tail light. I was tired of looking at the red on the sides. The pic of the face of the lens looks like there is overspray on the edges, but that's an optical illusion.

I also installed my plates. I have the Army plates on my truck also.
I decided to change up my seat to a distressed brown leather a local guy was selling....a little variety

Default Progressive 490 Shock Install

Weather was super nice here today, just under 70deg.

Installed the 490’s used a little scissor jack and it went super smooth.

Still working on setting the sag and rebound dampening.

went for a ride, seemed like everyone else did the same. it was a great day

Snowed today after a 60 degree day. I swear it’s a curse living here.
