To each his own but I do agree.. That's why when I started to convert my front end from FL to fx I went with a Sportster headlight bucket... A hell of a lot smaller then the 7"FL..

Kind of like when I first joined this forum and one member was bragging about his bike looking better at a small bike show and absolutely slamming the winning bike. Then proceeded to slam me to the ground.

I didn't hear much push back on the forum. I always wondered why?

I did explain to him that every bike is an expression of the owners own vision. Variety is the spice of life.

hold on, hold on. this is not how fights on the internet are supposed to go, we need more name calling, some cussing, and someone has to be banned

 

I've got some pretty strong opinions about what I think a bike should look like, and especially about things other people do to their bikes that I really don't like. That said, if you paid for it, it's yours to do with as you please, regardless of how I might feel about what you're doing. (Unless, maybe, if it's a Vincent Black Shadow, or something similar).

Oh, and every time I see someone post "and I'm going to make it mine" it conjures up an image of a dog peeing on a fire hydrant...

 

Let me correct myself, I like the way your headlight looks on your bike, I wouldn't call it a bugeye though. And no offense intended.
