Changed out the crappy (dead) Harley battery for a new, shiny Interstate battery (same specs plus 1/2AH increase...like that matters). Rode it today to work and when I started it, it was around 45 degrees F and the starter "flew" like a Japanese bike starter. This thing ('16 Stage-4 FXDLS) NEVER turned over that fast, even when the Harley battery was new. I keep it on a smart battery tender 24/7 when not riding it so I will see if the starter speed decreases any over time. So far, very happy I am not pushing it...and happy to be riding in 82 degree afternoon weather here in So Cal!

My 77 FXE had a fair amount of LTR/RTL and liked it.. It fit well with the rest of the bike... However that doesn't belong there.. Looks tacky.. Sorry man.. They have emblems for the backrest...

I agree, it's tacky, downright cheezy.......But I'll run it til a proper emblem comes my way.....which will be in the spring, bikes in hibernation .

I just took off my 16" LA Chopper handlebar and can't wait to receive my new IronHold handlebar... Meantime, I redo all the wiring

and change the black switches for the chrome ones! Guess it would look better!
