Sanded off the flaking Cerakote ceramic finish (that lasted a whole 3 months) and repainted with rustoleum high heat ultra... so far its looking good. Could have saved myself the 200 dollars for the ceramic coating..
I like the Paint Scheme, what year and any engine mods? A cheap up grate is a gear change with a 68 tooth rear pulley from a Sportster.. Makes a very nice difference..

Here's mine..
the pulley swap, does it improve gitty up or top end?
Helps with the giddy up and a small difference less on top end but nothing too noticable... 2 tooth makes a sweet difference and still has plenty of belt adjustment...I picked mine up on eBay for $70..
Mine is a 2016... I like your wheels.. wish I had them as my spokes are getting destroyed on the beach here in Florida! I like the sprocket idea and ive heard about the sprocket difference in the older dyna but not the sporty
I wish you the best. I re painted mine 3 times before I gave up on black exhaust.
yea, hopefully it holds up.. I have about 100 miles on it since painted .. so far so good. the Cerakote showed signs of deterioration within the first 100 miles!

that sounds like a future mod for me as well, I'm always feeling a lugging sensation with my 103 switchback when in first...almost as if it's in 2nd (which it isn't)
mine gets the 3 hole job in the spring...but with under 1,000k put on her this year and even less the year before it looks like just the motor will get the change this time around.
