What did you do to your Dyna today?
Picked up a sweet Le Pera Daytona 2up seat AND a genuine HD clip-on windshield from FB for a measly 100 bucks. I'm stoked! Rides like a totally different bike. Now if it just had mid controls I'd be set. Still can't get my right leg comfortable. But I'm stoked since my WG is finally coming into its own.
I have a leg cramping thing going on......Mid controls would be a recipie for a leg cramp scenario for my ride so I have the forward controls and a heel toe shifter.......incidentally I'll never go back to just a toe shifter.......yeah, I like the set up that much.......
Been a long time
So last June my psycho ex-girlfriend smashed my 2009 fxdb to ****. It sat at Harley for seven months waiting on the insurance claim. They replaced a bunch of parts that had nothing wrong w them like my primary cover, and the front fender. When I went to pick it up it was a total basket case. The new gas tank and fenders were unpainted so they didn’t install them. My old handlebars were off the bike and new ones were in a box and long story short I had to do all the work my self. I ended up painting it, messing up and painting it again. Got everything and rewired everything. It feels like it took forever but I finally got it fired up two days ago and yesterday took her for a few short rides. Still has some electrical gremlins to figure out. I installed a dual tachometer/speedometer that works perfect (every other time I start the bike) and my brake light is stuck on. I just replaced the banjo bolt before it got wrecked so who knows what the problem is. Wish me luck

Complete drag. Sorry to say you shouldn't have used the dealer at all. Last June someone hit my wife on her XL1200C while she was riding to work. The dealer said $8K to fix, when I could have done it for about $2,500. They probably still wouldn't be done, 13 months later.
BEST of luck to you.

Yep, actually the 1-1/2" diameter cylindrical sleeves that the shock bolts pass through.
Going to put some dense rubber on the above mentioned shock bolt sleeves. Right now it's just the powdercoated aluminum bearing on them.
Didn't get a ride in, but loaded it up today with all the stuff I'd take on a trip.

Sure. The sun glare washes them out. But this is how it sits currently. It was stripped down and ugly when I bought it. I know this isn't the popular style, but it fits a Wide Glide and fits me. That's all that matters.

I put 2021 Low Rider S bars and risers on my 2017 Low Rider S. Everything fit right on with no issues.
