What did you do to your Dyna today?
Question. How was the PM 6 piston caliper, axial? Is it an improvement over the 4 piston HD caliper?
I have a Fatbob with an aftermarket Fatspoke rim the PO installed, with a single disc system, and it doesn't stop good enough for my liking. I have replaced the master cylinder for a single disc one with the smaller piston, and installed a new ECB steel rotor in place of the shiny SS one that was on there. Stops much better now, but still, is not as good as a motorcycle should be.

First, you should''quote'' the post in question about the ''pm 6 piston caliper. 2 nd I have a single as well.....swapping to a dual rotor is the best option for our dilemma, that being said and contrary to popular belief , applying both brakes at the same time and not relying on just the front brake to stop you in short order will be enough to get you where you don't want to go......jmho.
6 Piston Axial Caliper
Ordered a 19x3 inch chrome PM Hooligan wheel to replace the 21x3.5 inch I have, front and rear 18x5.5 Metzeler 888 tires, a pair of left and right Brembo .484 radial brake calipers, a left side axial to radial mounting bracket and just got my 11.8 inch Hooligan rotor in today to replace the 11.5 front PM Hooligan rotor. Once I mount these few things mounted and ride around for a bit. In October or November I will order a second 11.8 PM chrome Hooligan rotor, Magnum shielding lower dual disc brake line, Brembo 19RCS brake master cylinder, Risomo reservoir for the master cylinder, Brembo clutch lever, Fatbob right lower leg to accept the right side axial to radial mounting bracket.
However if can sell my front end that I have now then I would buy the ODC Monza inverted front end from a dealer buddy of mind and sell my front end that I have now along with the 21x3.5 inch wheel, 11.5 inch rotor, pm 6 piston axial brake caliper and chrome fork brace for $1700. And the triple trees and lower legs have been powder coated black. Front end has the racetech gold emulator and spring kit installed with Roland sands adjusters.

Got the cam chest buttoned up, just need to finish the top end but going to pick my mother in law up at the airport soon.

^^ Not bad man, what did you use for the "inner cam bearings" Timmkens? and is there a trick to get them out?

Got to go for a little put yesterday to pickup my dog's meds. She has an enlarged heart, and these pills help to keep it down to a minimum.
Hoping to go for a nice LONG ride tomorrow, though, to the Blue Hole in Santa Rosa, NM. Can't stay long, though, since I have to be back Sunday early to qualify at the range for my CCW. Gonna try to qualify for both revolver and semi-auto. Kinda excited about that!
