I have a Fatbob with an aftermarket Fatspoke rim the PO installed, with a single disc system, and it doesn't stop good enough for my liking. I have replaced the master cylinder for a single disc one with the smaller piston, and installed a new ECB steel rotor in place of the shiny SS one that was on there. Stops much better now, but still, is not as good as a motorcycle should be.
First, you should''quote'' the post in question about the ''pm 6 piston caliper. 2 nd I have a single as well.....swapping to a dual rotor is the best option for our dilemma, that being said and contrary to popular belief , applying both brakes at the same time and not relying on just the front brake to stop you in short order will be enough to get you where you don't want to go......jmho.

Good point about the quote thing. Got ya. Bit of a Newbie here.Read more than I post. Always use both brakes. Habit I got from moto crossing as a teenager. Tried all kinds of pads except the stock harley ones. may give them a try next, but thinking a better master cylinder or caliper is what I need. Thanks for your reply.

Once I mount these few things mounted and ride around for a bit. In October or November I will order a second 11.8 PM chrome Hooligan rotor, Magnum shielding lower dual disc brake line, Brembo 19RCS brake master cylinder, Risomo reservoir for the master cylinder, Brembo clutch lever, Fatbob right lower leg to accept the right side axial to radial mounting bracket.

However if can sell my front end that I have now then I would buy the ODC Monza inverted front end from a dealer buddy of mind and sell my front end that I have now along with the 21x3.5 inch wheel, 11.5 inch rotor, pm 6 piston axial brake caliper and chrome fork brace for $1700. And the triple trees and lower legs have been powder coated black. Front end has the racetech gold emulator and spring kit installed with Roland sands adjusters.
I am wondering how much better a PM 6 piston caliper is when compered to the stock HD 4 piston caliper on a 2008 dyna. is it worth the money in your opinion. I live in Canada and its like $700 up here. Also. Do you know if a brembo front master cylinder would make a difference in braking performance? I have a Fatbob the PO converted to a single disc with a fat spoke rim.

Koyo B-148, I got a cheap bearing remover tool to get them out. It takes a little while because you have to hold it with one wrench and turn the nut with another but works good 👍

Got to go for a little put yesterday to pickup my dog's meds. She has an enlarged heart, and these pills help to keep it down to a minimum.
Hoping to go for a nice LONG ride tomorrow, though, to the Blue Hole in Santa Rosa, NM. Can't stay long, though, since I have to be back Sunday early to qualify at the range for my CCW. Gonna try to qualify for both revolver and semi-auto. Kinda excited about that!
