Shouldn't have said it's not impressive, more, I was surprised at how well the 103 ran against it. lol

When the 114's came out, three of us went and test rode them, I was coming from an 09 fat bob, with the 96 motor. so for me, I was blown away by it. my one buddy, was like, my 103 street glide can beat it. we all laughed at him. Following year, 2 guys we ride with got them, and every time they ran, he could beat them. after they did pipes and tune, it was closer, he'd always get a jump, and after 80 or so, they'd get by him. This year, they put cams in theirs and now the pull right away from him.

I have a 16 fat bob now with 222 cams i just put in, looking forward to running them, see how it does.

I agree about the 114. I worked on my buddy's '20 SGS, stock with slip ons and just by my butt dyno it couldn't hold a candle to my tuned, stage 1 '17 103. I know it's a bigger bike and what I'm saying is super unscientific but you know, whatever. OTOH, I was super impressed with the bike overall.

Worked on cleaning up some of the wiring I've done in the past, especially the shoddy job on the rear turn signal relocation. Kept digging to find the source of my parasitic drain. May just give up on the drain and keep it on a battery tender when I'm not riding. Weather should be nice (no rain) for a ride tomorrow.

Front outer cam bearing went bad so I’m taking the opportunity to upgrade to an automatic primary chain tensioner, cam plate, Andrews TW21 cams, new inner and outer cam bearings, cyco tensioner shoes, new lifters, and a Baisely +15% oil pressure spring.

Excellent, more pics please as you go along

In regards to your signature line, the solution is to follow The Noble Eightfold Path. Or in the immortal words of Frank Zappa from I believe Joe's Garage, "All I want is nothing"!

Finally after 6 months of working on the house doing projects, I installed my Supertrapp Supermeg, 14 discs w/CEC. Loaded a custom tune in my PV. Went for a ride and really like the reduced sound level. I`ll be playing around with the autotune and different maps for the next couple of weeks. Next project will be installing the chrome lowers on the front fork.
