Thanks guys. Funny thing is that sometimes the red key lights up on both bikes at random times for no apparent reason.

Today I did some blacking out on my 2012 Superglide. I like some chrome, but this bike has way too much for my taste. Triple clamps, fork sliders, hubs, rims, header heat shields, rear fender strut covers, and console are now black. I may also do the upper rocker boxes but haven't decided yet. Also, switched over to a 21" front wheel.

That red light also comes on if there's an error code, which you can retrieve from the speedometer. Sort of like a check engine light.

Mine came on solid last month while riding because my rear brake switch had gone bad.

It's like they say; There's only two types of riders that drop their Harley's... Those that have and those that will.
Welcome to the club and glad to hear that there wasn't much damage

Finally got the saddlebags tied on safely. I made a bracket that attached to the caliper so I could tie the bags to it. Nobody makes or has in stock any saddlebag brackets for Dynas nowadays anyway. Now they are secure and safe. No test ride as it was cold and rainy again.

Mine had a security alarm as well as fob equipped....but the system can be removed and converted to old school or bought new without as far as I know.to date.

I was 2 up with the ole lady when I christened my crash bar(s)....waddling in an unpaved parking area, foot stepped into a pot hole down she went too heavy to hold her and the wife.nothing but the ego was dented.

Got my new tank painted and on the bike. Definitely far from perfect but as long as it holds gas, it’s time to ride.
