Not a good day...
changed out the battery, both cables .. yes they are tight .. on my 07 fxdc that I bought used in 2018. GREAT BIKE.. LOVE IT.. like I was saying I bought it used .. I didn't get a fob with it , never needed one.. until today. It seems that the red key on my speedo is saying that my TSSM isn't link.. I go into the process of getting the security code without the fob to by pass it and it reads __ _ _ _ _ .. yep.. no numbers to read.. so now I'm kicked back in the garage drinking a cold beer and looking at a beautiful bike that belongs to me ( and the bank ) that I can't ride... what a *^$# up day this turned out to be.
ANY SUGGESTIONS?? beside trailer it to my local Harley dealer.. thanks in advance. Odd ball.

Installed reduced reach kit on my Wide Glide. Feels better so far. Only ran around town to test it.
Also put on a replacement heat shield. Looks better. Still working on attaching saddlebags though.

I've got a question about that. My 2007 FXDB that I bought used from a private owner in '09 didn't have a fob. Were fobs an option in '07 or did they all have them and then mine was removed?
EDIT: Come to think about it, my 2012 FXDC doesn't have a fob either......

Dropped it in my driveway. Wasn't even running. I was turning it around while waiting for my girlfriend before going for a ride. Couple of minor scrapes. Embarrassing. The neighbors saw it happen.

Fob for security system. Will have a red key light show up on instrument dial when the ignition key is turned on, then go off if no security is set. That is how my 2005 is.
