What did you do to your Dyna today?
Already ordered that kit but it only changes it 1" up and back. And it's a lot different than Low Rider's "Further Forward" controls. It's not the reach, as I'm well bent on the stock reach, it's the comfort. I hate hanging my heal off the pegs and just can't get my feet to relax. Same thing on my 48 with it's little forwards. After two bikes with forwards, I want mids. Trouble is finding a Harley that isn't factory forwards or modified forward.
Got rid of the Memphis Shades sport and did 100 miles with no wind shield. Much better. No buffeting
First ride after the oil change. 20w-50 full synthetic. Engine noise was not greater.

Got a few pieces back from the powder coater and put the wheel back together.
The best use ever for twist ties.
Now I just need to press in the bearings and final tighten and true it. The shop has the new tire and it's going on Tuesday woohoo!

Made some actual progress today. Got the new rear wheel and tire on, wired up the rear turn signals and brake light, installed the fenders and sissy bar. Got a handful of things to wrap up before its ridable including finishing the front brake lines and swapping all the guts into the new tank, but hopefully by next weekend it will hit the highway.

Absolutely. Whoever had the bike before me must've been the jolly green giant. I put on the factory seat lumbar pad which he had removed, it helped but the controls were still too far forward. On the highway it felt like my feet were going to blow off if I didn't consciously press down on the pegs. Very fatiguing. An inch closer doesn't sound like much but now it fits me like a glove.

Threw a new lithium battery in from Antigravity batteries, 480 cranking amps sure helps turn the big bore 107 over better then the tired old stocker.
Looked good sitting there after a ride so needed to take a picture too

Andrews 48H and some of the related parts. There are some new bearings and lifters as well. It's being installed today. Dynojet sent me a base tune for my PV that I can work with. Should be rockin' for the weekend.
