I've still got a lot of work to do before its actually ready to ride, but to see it together with its new stance is really exciting. It looks exactly how I visualized it in my head.

I still have to finish welding together my rear fender - which is a mishmash of Super Glide, Wide Glide, and Softail pieces, then get everything painted (also figure out a paint scheme...), replace a broken spoke on the front wheel, figure out the front brakes (I'm converting to dual disks), do all the wiring and controls, and probably a few dozen other things I'm forgetting about. I also want to switch the rear wheel out for something different and have a sissy bar fabricated, but that might come later this summer.
Wow, that looks awesome man!

Not glad that the accident was the nucleus for the makeover but I'm loving this so much better! Loving this chopped look, keep up the good work

When life gives you lemons, you build a bad *** custom Harley. Or something like that...

Never really got a chance to test it last night but did install a set of rear Harley emulsion shocks and a reduced reach kit.. so I have a lot to look forward to when the weather permits.. Not until late next week...
Have any of you guys replace the front springs.?. These Street Bob suspensions really do suck... Most likely will go with Progressives or if any one else know a good affordable front spring kit, I'd love to hear.. thanks..

with the fronts the way they are , I'm not sure yer gonna feel the difference with the rear shocks installed.......me thinks the front has a lot to do with the overall ''feel' of the bike......now if both front AND rear shocks sucked and you changed just the rears ...then you'll notice right away.....jmho.

Installed the stock headers and brand new Crusher Maverick slipons. Waaaaay better than the Bassani Sweepers! Also threw on some new pegs with stirrups. Hopefully I won't cramp up now.

And I Did, wow.... I got out last night for a 15 mile ride and could hardly feel the back end... The shocks are a huge improvement over the stock ones.. Believe it or not now I feel the front more than the rear now so i guess it's time for Progressives in the front..
Not sure though if I should go with the 11-1525 which I believe are the standard springs or the 11-1546 which are the heavy duty rate Springs. If anyone has any input on that I would appreciate it, thanks...
