Brrrr, pop pop, brrrr! Went for a nice ride. Got some gear, a new helmet, some half gloves, and a pair of shades. Took my ex out for lunch and a quick ride.

Thanks Dudepants! I'm in love. First Harley, got her yesterday. She belonged to someone who really looked after her and rode her sparingly. 2014, 11800km on the clock when I got her. Have already pushed her over 12000 since yesterday, though going to treat her well.

It's a '73 1600 twin port. Had a commuter car for a few years and now with working from home indefinitely decided to sell it get a VW and a Harley. VW is a project car, though still in really good running condition.
I had a '72 with the 1600 dual port. Funny, they went to the round taillights in '73 on the US models. I noticed your location says Johannesburg. I ride with a guy here in the US that's originally from Pietermaritzburg.

Nice! Might not be the original tail lights. A lot has been done to her. Interesting, going to ask my dad about that. He's had plenty of bugs that he converted into beach buggies. Ok cool, been through Pietermaritzburg before on the way to Durban.
