Did a couple hundred miles and visited five Iowa Freedom Rocks. Noticed some oil leaking from the breather bolts though.

I got my ‘06 back from the local Indy, they done some wiring and adjusted the tune. It was awesome to get it back! I said “I finally get to ride this thing again”
I was messing with my throttle grip, it felt it needed to be adjusted a little. Throttle cable was good, I began adjusting the idle cable and SNAP!
I had to replace my throttle cables 🤦🏻

Just got in from a 50 something mile ride, pull into the garage like I have a couple hundred times before. I flip down the kickstand and I might have let the bike roll forward a smidge and the stand was not locked in. I always let it down gently, and this time there was nothing to stop it! In literally 1/10 second I said “let it go” because I knew there was no way I was keeping it up. I heard the engine guard make a little *dink* when it touched the concrete, but my body definitely cushioned the descent. As soon as it stopped, I got off and in position to pull it back up. I have no idea how I did, adrenaline I guess, it was a struggle!

There’s a couple small nicks on the bottom of the engine guard which can’t be seen unless you get down on your knees. Also a small scratch on the bottom of the transmission, below the derby cover. Again, nothing to see, just a little scratch you can feel. I don’t see any damage to anything else, except my pride. The engine guard is truly worth it’s weight in gold, the bike would’ve had hundreds of dollars in damage otherwise.

Well, I won't make that mistake again!

I did the same thing with my Road King a few years ago. I plan to put a set of engine guards on my LR when I get it.

I called Bitubo to ask about fitment since I found that the types of Dynas listed/not listed to be a bit odd. They told me if they don't physically have a specific model or sub model type in their shop to fit them to they won't list it as compatible.

Hahahaha I'm a chef. Those buckets are damn sturdy and have a great pour spout. Work perfect for recycling used motor oil.

wow they are cheap compared to the AK-20's( 1500 when the dust settles) ..... the Bitubo rear shocks were rated the same as my Pro's and were over 200 less... I have read your impressions they sound like they are really working well...I like what I have for sure but I really like the cartridge style purely by design is better...thanks for the link
oops forgot the quote again....
