Yep, I'm not an engineer or welder by any standard, but it works well.

Looks great! Did you download or buy plans for it? Or did you do the engineering work yourself? I considered doing this at one time but wound up buying one. I love projects and could see myself doing something like this at some point.

Thanks, I'm currently watching "Tin Star" which made a subtle reference to "The Old Bill" and being from the US and not knowing the reference, I looked it up just yesterday

Put on the new seat over lunch and got a pic. After the picture I removed the rear 1" shock blocks, lowered the front back to stock height, and removed the kick stand block. The seat height made the stance too tall. Now I need to work the rear fender a bit to remove the seat pads and paint to match.

That's a good show. Watched a bit of it.

Thought they were referring to old Brit military comic character (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Old_Bill_(comics))...makes much more sense now.
