Last night I put all my Stage 1 components on... Somehow my heat shields aren't lining up the way they should, but I couldn't resist riding in to work today with the nice weather...

I can't understand how they aren't lining up properly, and I damn sure don't want to take them back off... Ill have to tinker with them a little more I guess...

Just realized after seeing another bike with BR 2-2 that I have the damn "muffler" heat shields reversed!!!!

This is why you don't try and get your stuff put on in a damn hurry after working an 14hr shift...

Got the Gauntlet fairing mounted and added on a headlight grill. I tried to tilt the fairing forward by adjust the fork mounts but it made it look like the fairing was sitting lower on the headlight. That's with the mounts pushed all the way up to the top tree.

Replaced the chrome head bolt bridges with black finned ones.

 

Only think planned for the Dyna today is enjoy some country roads and nice fall temps along with my son on his Shovel.

Handling is way better than stock, the bike fill stiffer but in the good way ! You feel there is hydrolics and not only springs like on stocks...

 

Picked up a J&S Jack today. Lucked out and found it on Craigslist for $250, guy bought it from J&S 2 years ago and recently sold his bike. It save me about $200 can't wait to try it out

 

Can't say I did it "today", but last week I finally got rid of the red pin-striping and lettering on my low rider, that I swore I would do the day I bought her. It only took me 7 months...

 

It looks so much better.
