Yeah no it's optional. I haven't got it yet but I want to just for the aesthetics of getting the headlight to the front of my fairing.

I've got an extra JD Customs headlight block I'd sell for $30 shipped. https://jdcustomsandfabrications.big...-light-bracket

I like the 1" block from Bung King. Your kickstand isn't any longer and it doesn't hit anything when up. http://www.bungking.com/kickstand-lift-block/

My +1 kickstand just got here today, this is the first I’ve heard about it hitting anything when up. On all years and models or specific ones?

I believe it is only an issue on non-Low Riders.

Just finished install on my LRS and no rubbing at all. Hits the stopper with at least an inch of space between it and the belt.

I have a +1 on my '01 LR and it doesn't hit anything. You should be good.

My +1 did not fit in the sense that it didn't land on the right spot for the rubber bumper. I wasn't sure what was wrong because it was supposed to fit, so I took it off to worry about later. I've since learned that that rubber bumper slides around, so maybe that's all it was, but I think it might have been touching the belt too. Will moving the bumper stop it from hitting the belt, or do I have to use the blocks with my Fat Bob?

I adjusted it back as far as the brackets will allow. The light is not as far in but still in there somewhat. Originally I was trying to keep the depth consistent around the entire light but to get this tightest to the bike (which I think I like the look of best) it puts the top further in than the bottom. It was raining here yesterday so I didn't take it out to see how it felt with the adjust.... something tells me I'll be messing with this for a while lol. Headlight extension a possibility???idk

Got my new throttle and idle cables on. Ordered longer ones so I could route them a little different...Didn't get them long enough, so now I've got a bit of extra slack. See how much it annoys me this summer and possibly do them again next winter. Waiting on a new brake line then I can start putting things back together. Starting to feel like spring here.
