I guess I have higher expectations of my batteries. If it can't sit for a month or two I'd say it's no good. If I were in your position I'd have the battery tested.

Went out for a neighborhood ride. Didn't know I was being watched.

unless you disconnect the terminals, it's unfair to expect these new bikes with these "alarm systems" or "motion sensors" or w/e they may have for the battery to not go flat if not on a trickle.........

I just received my BR custom 1 1/2” sweeping beaters bars. Brought the bike to the shop and ordered up some Roland Sands levers and new grips to go with it. Can’t wait. Will post some pics upon completion.
By the way Brownie, I put the Riot mini boards on my Street Bob and love them. Work well and compliment the style of the bike.

I still think you should be able to go at least a couple of weeks. If the parasitic draw is 25ma (it should be less) a 20 ah battery should last about a month.

My wife's Freewheeler sat for at least a month, maybe two, and started right up.

Love them! Very comfortable and not obnoxiously large. Good grip too for aggressive riding,.

Picked this 2016 FXDLS up in September. Got a couple more days worth of riding to go, so this morning I swapped the Fairing, put the bags and seat on, and put on a new big sucker and a new to me Bassani Lutzka pipe on. Before & After photos

How and where did you mount them? Been thinking about doing this myself, so I can save a ton of $, but not sure how/where to mount them to get the look I want..
