What did you do to your Dyna today?
Went to start it this morning so took it off the tender and it wouldn't start. Checked the voltage and it was too low so inspected the tender and the two pin connector had twisted and frayed to the point the wires were bare and touching. Broke out the car charger and had it on all morning and it wouldn't start at lunch either. So took off the battery cover and hooked the car charger directly to the battery and after a half hour it started right up. Luckily the battery may have been saved from the frayed chord by a bad connection from the pigtail to the battery.

Now that I took a few minutes to think about that last post, I bet the pigtail fuse blew the first time I tried to use the trickle charger after the chord had frayed.

If the frayed wires were in the pigtail then the fuse blew as soon as they touched each other. Now, you have to figure out why your battery went dead. If it won't hold a charge unless the tender is connected then it's past its best if used by date.

Yesterday, found a listing on FB for an HJC SY-MAX helmet for sale for $20, so went to look at it, and it was in great shape, so picked that up, and the lady, who was selling all her ex-hubby who passed away's "bike stuff", also sold me an HJC CL-05N dirt bike helmet for $5, and threw in for FREE 2 motocross jerseys, a HD t-shirt, a set of tan Frogg Togg rain gear, with the bag, AND a pair of nice textile over pants, which fit PERFECT! I made out like a BANDIT!! She was happy that his stuff was going to someone who is going to use it! That's what I call a "win-win"!!
It's been in the 30s for highs the last three weeks with ice and wet leaves on the roads so it has been on the tender for that long in the cold. Battery wasn't dead, but not enough juice to start and I wouldn't expect it to after that long in the cold on a tender that wasn't charging it due to the frayed connector and blown fuse.
