What did you do to your Dyna today?
Spent far too long in the garage for an AZ summer just raising my fairing as high as it can go on the forks. Typically the Memphis Shades fork mounts aren’t too difficult to adjust/install, but I wanted to get the fairing to sit as tight against the forks as possible, so the solution was to mount the clamps backwards. That makes the bolts virtually inaccessible, so it’s a nightmare trying to get them placed perfectly. I also put rubber strips on the inside of the clamps to protect the finish on my forks, so no metal on metal contact. Again causes install difficulty because they won’t rotate or slide on the forks. Worth all the effort though, at 6’3” the 17” shield and fairing fitted to the uppermost point on the forks, I’m in a very clean airflow while riding. I may now be at risk of hitting the windshield on low overpasses and bridges, it’s so tall.
This week I changed both my motor mounts hoping to solve a clunk I was having. Changed the rear one last night, will "align" them tonight and go for a ride..
Asking this here because I know for a fact there is probably a million threads on it and I just haven't started searching yet, but my front brake has been leaving a bit to be desired lately. I'm not sure when or why it changed but I noticed it feels like it just isn't grabbing. Definitely slows me down, I'm not too worried about my safety with it, but it feels like there should be more. I recently did a brake fluid flush per the manual instructions and I believe it was done right so not sure what could have buggered my up there..pads could maybe be replaced but they're definitely still okay where they're at...any suggestions?

Changed my transmission oil. Went with amsoil 75-110 severe gear based on the recommendation of a friend. Look forward to riding and seeing how it feels.
also lost my transmission dipstick on the street by my house. Found it again. Oops.

Rode mine to work today. Will get everything ready tonight for a nice ride tomorrow out through the Jemez to Battleship Rock, NM for a picnic with our CMA Chapter. Should be a nice ride, as the roads are nice and curvy/twisty out through there.
Rode 2 states over to ride in a funeral procession for a lost friend. The riding was great, just wish it was for a different reason. Oh, minus the cost of 2 tires and 2 wasted hours waiting for them to get changed. Picked up a nail in the rear tire during the services, both tires were in need of change anyway though, it just made me get it done.
*Edit*
It's kind of hard to see it was late and I was a little tired, but that says 879 miles.

Replaced the rear Night Dragon with a new one. Second one this year. Installed a new toe peg to match my boards and pass pegs from Boosted Brad. Also got my hydraulic clutch cover in from him. Just waiting for a couple more parts to come in before I swap it in.
Then I went on a nice cool evening ride!
