Headlight conversion to add the fairing. That, or he bought a street bob and then swapped fat bob wheels, fenders, trees, lowers, dual brake kit, and then bought a 7" headlight and put on the fairing. I'll let you decide which is more likely!

edit: you figured it out yourself. To be fair, I ride a fatbob so I had a bit of a head start.

Thanx for the understanding. I'm semi new to HD, plus the new line going to Softail has me a lil ****ed up. I ask dumb questions cuz I'm open to buying more bikes. Like to know what I'm looking at.

When it comes down to it, buy whatever you kinda like that you can get the best deal on. You're probably going to change it all anyway, might as well save money on the front end. That's how I look at it at least.

as for the smartasses, that is anywhere you go. Don't let it wear you down, just learn from it. There is a wealth of knowledge on this forum.

Couldn't figure out why my bike was running like crap after my Target Tune install, anything other than riding the bike in AutoTune mode caused it to pop and surge like crazy. No error codes or anything from the PV shows that I wired it all correctly, which was my first thought. Got a TT enabled tune from FuelMoto, flashed the bike and started the AutoTune process. After I was done with several runs, flashed that to the ECU and bike ran like ***. Sent that tune to FM for any adjustments and flashed the file I received, ran worse. Added on a few more AutoTune runs to that and then found out I couldn't flash the file from the AutoTune process directly to the bike, you had to get it converted to a TT tune first. Sent that to DynoJet and after receiving that file, during the flashing process I noticed it said "target tune enabled", so I went through all the files I was sent from FuelMoto and none of them came up with that message during flashing. I told them that I had TargetTune installed when I sent the file but apparently during both correspondences, they never enabled the TT feature which caused the TargetTune to not do its thing. Now it's running like a champ!

TL;DR - FuelMoto never enabled TargetTune on my files went I sent them for conversion to that format, which cause bike to run like crap except in AutoTune mode.

Dayum? Glad ya finally got it right. I freak out a lil when it ain't right. I only got the FP3, but it's been ok for me with canned map. Thought about some autotunes, but IDK.
