Upgrade Question
I am currently in the process of adding hard bags and a Memphis shades batwing to my 2009 FatBob FXDF.I really don’t like the rear fender and the ugly taillight, can I change it out with the newer style rear fender with out major mods? If so what will I need to pick up for parts other than the fender, taillight and strut covers? Thanks Jon

Just got my dyna street bob about a month ago now. Been a long time since my last Harley. Gonna play catch up here real quick w the changes i made so far.
Busy de-skulling the bike has cost more than a grand and i still have more to go
replaced seat 2 a 2up danny grey and added passenger pegs
removed saddle bags but put mounting hardware for detachable saddle bags and detachable sissybar. Added detachable sideplates, sissybar and luggage rack
replaced led fuel gauge and gas cap
removed handlebar speakers
replaced derby cover w custom cover
added chrome fusebox cover
added battery cover bag
had forward controls installed
on order now are chrome strut covers and handlebar tool bag
id like to relocate the ignition switch and change to a keyless fob but not sure if im going to do that soon. Lots of little stuff and accessories i want to get first before spring
still looking for a chrome timing cover i like but nothing has caught my attention yet

I got my custom timing cover from these guys and you could find one from them that is in the same design/style as your primary cover. No chrome ones though, polished stainless, matte black, or polished black only. https://milspin.com/

I must have hit a spurt of energy. LOL.. Today I installed the V&H FP3 that's been sitting on my workbench for two weeks.
It's def different, bike sounds different too. I just used a canned map for now. Play with it more later.

The color scheme wasnt one of there normal options. I asked specifically for it. They did the custom work w no extra charge since it wasnt an actual design change

Well, not today, but on Saturday I swapped the stock horn for a Custom Dynamics Mini Beast V air horn. What a difference! Not only was the swap fairly easy, everything I needed was include in the box.
And, of course, after done with the swap, I got some riding in! So glad it's starting warm up & dry up here.
