I took the thunder header off and put on the Vance and Hines Big Radius 2-1 chrome finish. My thunder header was an awesome pipe, but it was black and I have way to much black on the bike. So here are some before and after shots.

 

Did me a weight reduction mod the weekend, lol.

Broke 10,000 miles in 5.5 months, serviced, and cleaned it.

 

Suspension on my Electra Glide Classic, a few years ago, was something I never upgraded and sold it, before getting around to it. IMO, it was the single worst part of the bike. So, when I picked up the Wide Glide, its the first thing I did.

After 100 miles, no problem saying it is a completely different bike. Far better ride on straight highway and significantly more confidence inspiring at any angle.

Crew at Traxxion was great and even got a nighttime tour of the place, when I picked up the bike. Machine shop is spotless and entire experience was top notch.

 

3 hole fluid change. No windshield fluid.

 

Replaced my stator and this is what my old one looked like. Is this normal or is there another issue I gotta deal with? New at this....first attempt to work on bike myself.

 

MoCo had stator problems with short life spans, 10 years ago. Had an '05 Heritage with a bad one. Haven't heard of problems lately, but I'm sure there are much more informed than I here, that can help. tp

 

Rode for the first time in weeks. All the rain we had in SC made sure of that. Of course, we didn't get near the rain in Greenville that some parts of the state got.
