Took a picture of the SAC grips that arrived in the mail today. Very nice grips - even came with a tube of Truebond Griplock.

Crazy? Nope! I kinda envy people that can leave their rides alone and just enjoy them as they are.

Aye, and it's very nice. Firm, yet cushy, if that makes sense.

Edit: today I hooked the battery back up to the battery tender so it will stay charged and be fully charged for when this project is complete.

I had forwards installed on my sporty and rode it home. Took about 5 minutes to get used to the new location - mostly because they felt so much better!

Ride it around a parking lot for a couple of minutes and you'll be good.

I never really noticed an adjustment period going from mids to forwards. I would take the time before rolling out to adjust the shifter and brake lever locations (height) so they're comfortable and easy to operate. Hate to get down the road and find you can't get on the brake.

I got the bike home fine. Took the first turn overly wide but that was the only mistake. Other than that it was just the want to keep putting my feet back to the mids

Now gotta clean the bike from the wet roads and rock salt the other day.
