That'll be a few months. It's 5F outside.
Were you thinking about the spacing between the bushings being insufficient to give proper lateral support when the forks are topped out?

Today I ordered a pair of Burly's MX footpegs for comfort on the roads. They kick ***... I've heard xD. They also have a beeropener .

Always a consideration, but no, I didn't have any hidden agenda with the questions ... but am curious on first impression comparison to previous set-up

I have the gold valves on my Dyna, they are a great improvement. They add 3/4" or so of preload and then the benefits of the valving over the damping tubes. Way better.
When I got this FXR the front end in typ[ical Harley style was so soft it would bottom out when you grabbed a handful of front brake. So I went with the the gold valves and drilled out, longer damper tubes (which do nothing now but add preload and room for more travel) I ended up with 2 3/4" of preload. If it's too rough I'll get longer tubes. But I think it'll be about where I want it, based on how the Dyna is working out.

Went by the dealer and picked up the last parts for my gauge relocation. While there was talking to a buddy who's been a salesman there and he hit me up about trying out the m8 road glides. Had to take myself out of it especially since I have been missing my 15 glide lately.
