It better - lol. I am looking at bleeding the rear brake now. It's a tight fit to remove that rear master cylinder cover. I think I have a tool that will work but I'll have to grind it down to make it fit. Good project for tomorrow - or whenever I get around to it.
Edit: I looked in the service manual thinking there may be a trick to it and all that I could find is where it reads "remove rear master cylinder cover"...
Think I'd just take it out, drift a few corners. Any remaining anti-seize would be a non issue. At least the rough asphalt would scratch up the tire better than the wifes scotchbrite pad.
Only referring to the side wall. I use 5 different types of scotchbrite almost daily. Non belong to my wife
Today I got the rear brake master cylinder cover off. It wasn't so bad after all. I just had to step away from the bike for a while and think about it. Moving fwd!
Hey tnriverluver, I got them from a company in Az. called SMT machining. The guy I worked with over there was named Jeremy. Awesome company and willing to work with you.
Friends new paint job I just finished and hes had together a week had 2 bolts back out of the access panel/top plate on the tank. Lifted the clear and base in a few places. I'll be fixing this in a couple weeks after I get another bike out of the shop. Guy just has bad luck at wrong times.
