Thumbs up Change bars and bushings

I removed the original mini apes and replaced it with 13”

drag specialties T bars. I also change the bushings adding the poly ones.

Today I masked off the chrome belt pulley a little so as not to mess it up while reinstalling the rear wheel, and rounded up some stuff. I may have the rear wheel back on before morning, not sleepy.

Edit: damn that anti-sieze makes a mess.

OK got the rear wheel on, and the rear shocks bolted up. I'll spend the day tomorrow cleaning off as much of that anti-sieze from everywhere. It sure does not want to come off the tire! Blah!

As soon as possible. I still have to buy the wide glide triple trees. Lotsa work ahead.

Edit: next I think I'll take the tank off, disconnect wiring to remove handlebars, remove triple trees, etc.

new intake seals while the tank is off, cable work. It's getting the new S&S mini teardrop air cleaner, looks the same but 80% the size of the one that's on there now.

Let's see, chrome upper and lower rocker boxes, chrome tappet covers, the list goes on.

You do have the list all written down, right? A bitch to forget anything.

Riding the Kawi, in the meantime?

Rode my Ninja 1000 today. What a BLAST that thing is. tp

Oh yeah! I took the Kaw out the other day. Sunny and 60 degrees - it was nice! I need to stop and do a little work on that thing too. I have a new manual petcock to install, new front fender, fork brace, oil and filter change, etc. But its rideable as it is anytime I feel the urge!
