Finally got the pain in the *** wiring done on the Target Tune and was able to fire it up with the new exhaust. After about 5 minutes of idling, the head pipe turns from the stainless steel to a goldish bronze like many others have mentioned, hopefully the muffler does as well. Couldn't be happier with how it turned out. Took it out for a quick 30 minute ride to our local watering hole, and the longer I rode it, the idle and power band kept smoothing out, and was more responsive when giving it more throttle, I assume that's the TT doing its thing.

Beyootiful exhaust, man. Really wish I had the coin for something like that.

Thanks, still waiting on someone to buy my old Cobra exhaust so I can feel a little better about spending the money on it!

Putting it in wasn't too difficult of a task, routing the wires was the most time consuming part of installation. Sticking the bare wires into the TT was a royal pain, half the wires went in just fine, but the other half either wouldn't go into the terminal so it could be clamped by the screw or when you tighten said screw, it wouldn't pinch the end of the wire and it would fall out of the hole. A connector instead of bare wires would have turn the 3 hours wrestling with the 6 wires a cake walk.

After flashing the converted tune I sent DynoJet and letting it idle for about 10 minuets, I took off and it was a little poppy and surge happy. After a few stops, I noticed that each time I started the bike back up, it kept improving. Popping was gone (could've been the new exhaust settling in), smoother power band, and a more snappy throttle. As time goes on, the rate of diminishing returns will set in, but so far it's been great.

You should order something from Surdyke. I ordered on 12/8/18. They delayed shipping till 12/18/18 then 12/27/18 then 12/31/18 then 1/2/19 then 1/4/19 and now finally under the "status" heading it just says "b/o/w/o date". Which i'm assuming means back ordered without date. Surdyke prime my ***!
