(when your Dyna is quieter than your wife's sportster, things MUST CHANGE!). Hope to have a sound clip and better pictures up if the snow ever stops now. Glad I got my 30 miles in yesterday when I did.
Hhahahahaa..

I have that problem. My lady's sportster is louder than my Dyna. Gonna have to do something about that. I thought the baffles were removed from my exhaust. May have to check again.

That looks like it's a little more "vertical" than it probably should be. I bet if you turned around the top clamps on the forks, so that the bolt was toward the back instead of the front, that would cause it to lean back more toward you, and should put the top at the right spot for you. I had a 19" MS Fats, and it was right at my vision line or just below it.

Yeah, acrylic can be a bitch...but I bet you have coolant. I never did. I assume coolant helps.

Thumbs up Replaced my fuel crossover line

Today I replaced my fuel crossover line. My old one was so destroyed from the AZ sun that it was practically disintegrating. Siphoned my tank just in case things went south, and I clamped the line in 2 places and cut in the middle. Inserted fittings and an extension line in each side, released the clamps and drained remain fuel into gas can. Glad I finally got around to it. Easy job!

Rode in the 18 degree weather this morning. The warmup cycle took a while.

Rode mine to work, with temps starting in the mid-upper-20s. Decided to forgo the electric gloves, but by the time I was halfway to work, I wished I had them. However, the ride home should be in the mid-upper-50s with clear skies, so should be nice.

Got a set of turns from another member, and will probably see about installing them tonight, along with the foam grip covers, though I might wait on those until I can get the grip heaters installed under them. Would like to either install terminal blocks instead of going direct to the battery, or a fuse block with common pos/neg on it. Would like to tie into the "extra" connector under the seat so it's all tied in after the switch, so it won't run when the bike is off, but not sure which connector I need. Some look like Molex, and some look like Deusch, but I can't tell. Here's a pic of the one I have under the seat:

Can someone help me with which one it is? I want to get the matching connector to go with it to tie my fuse/terminal block into it.
Thanks,
Jammer

Hopefully, it will all be gone and melted off by the time I leave work. However, since temps are not supposed to rise above 36f today, I might have a slippery ride home.
Me too...
