I finished buffing the rear rim, put on the new AN brake rotor, put the pulley back on with the Hugh's Hand Built rear pulley locking kit https://www.hughshandbuilt.com/, and got the back end put back together. I really like the the new rotor and the locking kit will be some peace of mind.

That gave me an idea. Wonder if you could have a "lock" that automatically moves out through the holes in the rotor, with some sort of "detector" to tell you when the holes and "lock" were lined up, and then it also would automatically retract when you want to go?

Very curious to hear how like those pipes. I have a Cycle Shack clone of them and really like them.

As a theft deterent? I can think of a couple ways to get there. Seems the easiest would be a solenoid and some ramped pins but I'd want some type of mechanical interlock to prevent accidental engagement while under way. Probably something ties into the transmission so it couldn't lock up while in gear.

Just pushed couple of buttons and ordered Memphis shades quick lock mounting kit . Buddy of mine gave me a windshield so I ordered the mounting kit. now the windshield, until later when I get a bat wing. really interesting to see how it is to ride with either windshield or bat wing. I've been going on Lotta highway lately and the wind is a bitch I'll post more when I get her all hooked up

Sounds like a good idea to me. Thanks for the idea.

I'm sure someone here might be looking for a windshield, so post it up when you get the batwing. I'm looking for a bigger shield than the little MS Shooter I have now for highway rides. The Shooter is great for back and forth to work, but want something bigger and better looking, like a Slim, for the highway.
