Agree, and personally tired of the blacked out look. Hope more color and chrome return soon. Maybe not the crazy 70's coffin tank designs, but they too were cool for their time... tomp

Figured I'd post a mock up photo, as I couldn't find a picture of one mounted on a bike before I bought mine.

I like that more than I would think. I'm curious to see the full look.

Heard a clicking sound from the rear wheel and a bolt on the rear pulley had busted off in the hub. Took off the rear wheel to get the stub out and discovered a second bolt was also broken off in the hub.

Hoping I'll get another ride or 2 in before I pack it in for the winter, then I'll pull the tank and drop it off for paint.

Got a couple other things planned, I'll post pictures in the spring when it's all back together.

Well got mine all together again this evening finally. Seemed like every little thing fought me. Got the bike off the lift and wiped down. Went to test ride it and two little problems arose. 1st one was one of the floating rotors wouldnt settle and had a bad rattle. Went to look and realized I didnt put the spring washers on the new bolts for that side duh me. The other problem was battery light came on. Pulled in and hooked up the charger showed right at 12 volts. Cranked back up and it dropped didnt go up. I put it on charge and said thats enough for tonight I'll just cause more problems than I fix. Now as I sit here I think I bet the regulator got unplugged while I had it strapped down knowing my luck. Always something you overlook. But did snap a little pic to show I am impressed the wheels look better than I was worried. Hopefully tomorrow after work I can find/fix the little errors while it's perfect riding weather.

Nope, but the other three bolts were also backing out. It could have been ugly.

Did the brakes and installed the Arlen Ness BBK kit on the bike. Brakes are much better.
