Added a Krator faring.

 

MID CONTROLS are what 39mm to newer 42 mm front forks on ALL DYNA's were made for.( NOT a fan or owner of anything fuel injected or forward controlled equipped DYNAS's OR ANY OF MY CUSTOM BUILDS WHICH ARE SMALL, FAST ,LIGHT (488 LBS. ~AND MID CONTROLLED) YES...... BOLT HIGHWAY PEGS ARE COOL AND NICE ( I've ridden my 03 anniversary Dyna from Connecticut to Sturgis,Laughlin and OAKLAND CALIFORNIA) 11 times....nice to have highway pegs @ 110 mph on open roads . NOT a fan of nor a proponent of forward controls ( Buy a lazeeboy from Raymoore & Flannigan Furniture store and put a motor on it if you like and use forwards controls ) . Yeah Yeah Yeah......I hear all the forward control fan boys & girls even before the reply's come slinging in......but I call em as I see em,ride and Build em . I also have MX Style "Mushman " serrated /anodized MX Pegs on all of my FXR's FXDX's and FXDL's as well as BAKER 6 SPEED OVERDRIVE Transmissions & BAKER Street Performance Clutches and 530 O-Ring Chain Drive and Stainless Steel Sprockets instead of that anemic flexy(not sexy) and UNRELIABLE ANEMIC RUBBER BELT DRIVE AND THOSE SHITBAG FRONT & REAR H-D PULLEYS . I have 5 individual sets of front transmission,& rear wheel pulleys and belts for anyone interested in buying spares for their bikes: FXR,FXDX and FXDL Low Rider . They also fit the softtail models for those who might be interested . They're just taking up room in my parts shelves......I'm asking for insanely low $ just to get rid of em . drop me a message or reply,whatever works. They're just H-D Junk I dont need and hardly used .

 

 

Put air in the tire and rode to work. Chasing a slow leak over 4-5 days that will cause the new rear tire I just had put on to be flat. I'm suspecting a bad valve stem at this point - nothing stuck in the tire that I saw, would be surprised if the bead wasn't seated right. Tightened the nut at the base of the valve stem before because I was losing all the air pressure in 1-2 days and it seems to have helped a bit. Looks like another trip to the tire shop this weekend is in order...

 

Check the schrader valve. Usually the source of leakage problems. tp

 

Took it to a 6th shop. Asked them to check voltage regulator and coil. If they're alright, then it's new engine time. 20k miles, bike looks new.

 

Stopped by the powder coater to see how progress was coming on an old Lincoln hes playing with (and check on my wheels too) hes expecting to have them finished tomorrow. Hammered out the details on a bike I'm painting for a customer/friend that went down a few weeks ago. Then I had a weakness talking to hardcore cycles and ordered a set of rwd rs-1 shocks in 14" and a 2" over front end for the bike. They made me a good deal hopefully they perform well.

 

Spot on. Was about a quarter turn loose. Did the old soap and water test on the tip of the stem and sure enough it was trying to blow little bubbles. Tightened it up, haven't lost any pressure since last night so I'm thinking that has fixed my problem, for now.

 

Did all my changes and don't like new mirrors. So ordered different ones and going with fork mount turn signals. Order the fork mounts. Also ordered new leather bags. Now maybe that is it till next year.
