What did you do to your Dyna today?
A little scale from the bearing carryover, but looks like a little love from steel wool will clean it up. Freaked me out a little since a buddy recently had a rear bearing fail and take everything including the wheel and even the caliper mount. So yeh instant butt pucker realizing I was possibly on borrowed time.

I'm assuming those must be the original bearings given the age of the wheels. That's remarkable. The race looks like cast iron that was pressed into a gravel bore. Come on MoCo...you need to do better.
16 model 18k miles. Central Louisiana so just high humidity. But yeh 3 wheel bearings look great overall this one just looked like pressed dry and forgotten. I dont take it too easy on this bike. I didnt buy a 110 bike and beef up the motor and suspension just light foot it around.

Depends why you go, as to how much fun you will have. Rally streets and vendor booths are like every other rally. It is done on public grounds and streets, so lots of concerts, but not the crazy nudity, like the ROT and other private rallies. Best part is there are around a half million attendees over the four days, so there are more bikes of every make, model and condition to view and admire. A friend owns a beach house down there, so we go just to be there, among so many like minded riders. tp
