never ran over a 2x4 before sure if would have made my heart skip a beat...lol
a 2x4 isnt bad at all. they actually use them as the obstacles you ride over in the harley riding classes.

I know a guy who made it over an open man hole cover with no damage (to the bike).

Today I received the new hand grips and battery tender. I need to finish cleaning up my toy box before I get to work on the bike.

Broke a couple spokes on rear wheel of my FXDB a week or so ago, picked up a used rear FXDF wheel, it's at the powder coat guy along with the rear drive sprocket and brake rotor, everything getting powder coated black, got new Chrome bolts for both the sprocket and rotor, should have everything back middle of next week and get it all back together along with the new 180 tire.
I haven't seen this done yet but I know some probably have, can't wait to get it all back together and get some pics for you guys.

With my 270lbs, heavy throttle wrist and the crap CA roads, that rear spoke wheel just couldn't take it anymore.

Bike almost didn't start this morning. It took 3 tries, but finally fired. Later I rode to Stealership and bought a new battery. I installed it in the parking lot. Down here in SW Florida, almost every bike is a bagger... that explains why my ride got a ton of attention and compliments.

First official post in this thread. Have already knocked out a few items on the Dyna.

10/4/18
-Installed eBay engine top link (sbc alternator tensioner)

10/5/18
-Rode the **** out of it today. eBay engine top link courtesy of F86 worked excellent. Remnant lateral engine shimmy is now indiscernible.
