Left mine at home because of 40mph winds which turned out to be a good thing since I ran over 2 -2x4s laying accross the hwy in 2 different locations. In the traffic I would have not been able to miss them more than likely.
never ran over a 2x4 before sure if would have made my heart skip a beat...lol

Better than hitting a railroad tie!! A friend did that on her Dyna in the middle of a group, and everyone in front of her missed it, but she hit it square in the middle. Bent her front rim, but she managed to keep the bike upright, and slowed down to pull over to the side. I was back about 4 bikes behind her, and saw half of it skitting off the side of the road right in front of me. She was a bit scared after that, so since my wife was riding with me, I had my wife ride my bike, and I rode hers back to her house. As long as I stayed under 50 mph, it didn't wobble too much, so I just took it slow. She had actually popped up so high that her knee hit and dented the top of the tank near the back, and hit the top of the windshield on her chest. Last I heard, she got it all fixed back up, but still a VERY scary ride!!

How do you do that? I know with metrics you can simply swap out the 1156 sockets for 1157, and splice the 3rd wire into the running circuit, but not sure about this HD wiring. If there's a plug-n-play option, I might go that route instead. I always wondered if the module from a Sportster or Softail that normally has the turn signals as running lights might work, but not sure.

She's a beauty. No doubt somebody will snap it right up.

Harley makes the plug. There are others out there. Triple play makes one and there is another source. The Harley kit isn't too insanely priced and they have it in stock locally. So, I am going that route.

Finally broke down and changed grips after 2 years owning the bike, usually first mod. But after having them start to break down in my hands decided it was time. Just did the harley get a grips like all my bikes. Also adjusted the handlebars up to more comfy style. Sometimes it's the simple things.

Rolled the odometer over 10k when I arrived at work. Time to do the 10K service tonight.
