Isn't that the truth. I have now switched to a full face helmet so the only issue I have had with bugs is keeping the visor clean. The life of a motorcyclist might not be easy but it sure is fun.

Anybody ever seen one of these Lowbrow fenders on a bike? I've seen them for sale for a while now, but have yet to see them actually on a Dyna. Just curious how they look.

The new handlebars arrived today. The original ones look good, but dayum, these new ones sparkle like crazy. I think I'll hang on to them! Pics later on.

Ordered a pair of allen head riser bolts so I can countersink into the bottom solid riser bushings; for a cleaner look.

Same here. Went in at 11AM, and according to the weather, it would be raining by noon. And it was. Bike didn't need a bath, so it stayed home, dry, in the garage. Hopefully clear by Saturday... tp

5 AM: Laying out parts on the workbench, doing a little figuring out, making a list, checking it twice. I had a couple "ahaaa" moments - yeah that will work nicely!

Took off four more fiddly trim bits off the bars, bagged them up.

I want to get in one more ride before I take things apart. Just one more!

Installed DK Custom's Thunder Torque Inserts and took a quick test ride. With the 2-into-2 Super Trapp Mean Mothers I was looking for a little more torque at the low RPM range. Definitely did that. Much better from a dead stop, more predictable at parking lot speeds. Sound was affected a bit. Seems a bit deeper, all the boom and not as much crack in the sound, if that makes sense.
