It's definitely not the norm. Have a few thousand miles on mine with plenty of hard runs up and over 100mph and some sporadic events over 120.

It's not the acceleration course that are causing the failure. It's the compression course.

It can happen usually when the engine relaxes after being revved.


And yes, it is called "driveline course."

**** man! That's effed up! Be glad you have a leg! Did your leg get pinched at all? How did you avoid that?

Thanks guys. I'm sure she was on her phone as everyone is these days, completely oblivious to what's going on around them. My body definitely took some impact, I'm pretty sore on my right side. There's marks in the bike from the front tire all the way down to rear fender. I tucked my leg in at the last second and it must have just been enough to not twist my foot around backward like it did to the peg. I'm very lucky and by the grace of God still have my leg in one piece
