Monster
congrates on your build been watching all your progress happen. Hats off to you and Kirby its truly a monster!! Is your exhaust just a standard thunder header? or was it modify. the torque is very impressive, the only problem you will have now is keeping your front tire on the ground your headlight will be shining the trees looking for raccoon's !!

Thank you everyone. Great job on the assembly Kirby, I can't beilieve the numbers. Highest it got to was 130/149.9 but that may have been STD.

Soft02, I'm definitely going to take my time getting used to the bike, it feels weird just cruising after being on the bagger for the past few months.

Target, it's just a stock th. If I end up going with bigger cams and heads later on then I'll probably weld the cone to a d&d head pipe with bigger primaries.

The 4.9 injectors were over 90% duty cycle at WOT, so I need to keep that in mind and eventually go to 5.3. So what now? Change the oil/filter and ride it for a couple hundred miles and change again? Then 500 miles and change, and then back to synthetic at 1000?

Congrats brother, may I suggest you talk to Frank @ Dragos bike works about his exhaust system whenever you go to upgrade? His 2-1's are the real deal and I would be curious what your numbers would be like with his Dagula and what your TQ curve would be like.

Just my $0.02

this is actually got me thinking a bit.pretty much all the 124"`s I do I use 110 heads, this is the second one this year where I used stock heads (these are 1.980/1.575).the last one was VERY mild (10.0-1,S&S .570 cams,1.900/1.575.) it did 123/136.the milder motors look like they like the smaller valve, very high velocity headwork.close to 130 hp with 146 tq is very nice out of a motor you can basicly ride anyware (with tq like that, ide be thinking about a set of bars alittle closer to the top tree, could be a real hand full with those high bars!!)

thats what mstng5point0 is having done a stepped front pipe built with stanless steel tubing by a good welding friend. waiting to see the final results. most defiantly needed 5.3's for your application!! a woods 9B or 9F with compression set correct would make you some more ponnies. but what u have now is nothing to sneeze at!

theres a lot he can do to get more hp,but when we first started this project (james, correct me if I wrong),he wasn't after chasing #`s,but more looking for a high HP,very reliable motor.pretty much what was built ( I do agree with the 5.3 injectors though)
