Hey just throwing this out there, I posted it in the tuner section but nobody is coming through for me. I'm looking for a tts map for my build to break the motor in until I can get it on the dyno. I know there's not a whole lot of 124s on this forum but I think a 120r with a similar build will work too. I've posted on htt but nobody there seems to have anything either. Anybody know someone with a similar build running a tts??

Let me know when you head up my way first ones on me

Hey Monster, my tuner broke the bike in on the dyno - does your planned tuner not do this? I picked mine up and went ripping! I know S&S break in procedures are gradual....

Kirby's break in is even longer and a bunch of oil changes. With a Dyno break in your done!

Yea the tuner will do break ins on the dyno it's just not something that I'm comfortable with. I trust RC Cycles but I don't think I want to see that brand new motor up on the dyno screaming at 6k with virtually no miles on it. I'll call S&S on Monday I didn't even think of calling them. If I can't find anything I may leave the tmax on til the break in is done. Soft did you follow Kirbys break in procedure? The s&s procedure seems damn near impossible to do in real life. What oil did you break her in with and how many miles did you run tht oil?

I Dyno broke it in. Kirby was fine with that. I followed Kirby's oil change intervals. I used valvoline 20w50 till I had 3k on it. Right now its got M1 in it because I had 3 quarts on the shelf. I'm going to be running LiqiMoly 10w60 next. If I had tried to break it in myself I would have never caught that I had a week fuel pump. They caught it on the Dyno.

If you read this stuff you might be worried by breaking it in too slowly:

This reference has been floated around a lot but just in case you missed it!
