I think Kirby's motor was $5600 plus shipping then $500 for a clutch.

Yea that's pretty close. I went gear drive so the motor is closer to $6k. If you plan on an aggressive 124" you can add $700 to that clutch for a billet basket. This **** is ridiculous man, parts add up quick.

Edit: I think it's closer to $6k including the clutch. I want to say it was closer to $5100+gear drive+ clutch. It's hard to break it down in my head because Ive bought a new a/c, tuner and lots of powder coating too. Bank on $6k minimum and lots of down time haha

Lets say you get it all done for 8k. For the type of wild original ride your gonna have you did great. Cheaper than buying a new bike by far and totally your own. Great build so far, really enjoy following this thread. When do you figure to have it all done and rideable? Roughly speaking a course.

This should come in well under $8k. If I didn't decide on a new a/c and tuner it would have come in well under say $6500. When will it be done?? Ehhhh, last I heard Kirby was hoping to get it out next week. So add a week on the road to get to me.. Plus I'd say at least a week or two to get it the top end on it, get it in the bike and pick up any parts I've overlooked (which is going to be extremely irritating) Honestly probably another month until it fires... Man that makes me want to cry when I think about it haha. Could possibly fire in two weeks but I doubt that very much, I'll be happy just to have it back in my possession. I've got parts scattered all over the garage and I'm **** about having a clean garage so I'm ready to get her back together!!!

Me and the girl are jumping on the bagger and heading to capitola. You should head north and meet up with us so I can hear that 124" and see what I'm missing haha

Wish I could. Wathchin the kiddo while mama works. I'm planing on heading up around Frisco this spring though. Sound wise you would be hard pressed to guess I've got a 124. The low compression and fatcat hide it well.

Haha. When you get overly frustrated just remember us poor bastards with 3 feet of snow on our lawns and at least 8 weeks to go before we can ride. Plus it's been 10 weeks since we last could.

Damn.

I just depressed myself.
