I like the last pic/option, the speedo and tach just look so classic by themselves.

This is getting better and better. I'd love to take this thing for a putt once you get it together.

Hmmm...you're only about 30 tanks of gas from me.

Yea I think your right. Putting it on the riser will be the easiest way too. I'll have to wait til the tank is back on

Yes you do.. That's a hell of an eye I'm assuming you have the same one since you can't really even see the poster in the picture.

Talked to Kirby today, he's hoping to send the lower end out Friday. Heads will be another week behind that... Kinda sucked to hear that.. I can't do **** with the lower end til I get the heads, I want to assemble it on the stand, not in the bike. Oh well, another couple weeks of waiting

Its easier to slip it in the frame minus the heads.

I know it but I think id rather fight that one step rather then fighting the manifold, heads, rocker supports and rocker boxes...

I put my together all on the bench and slipped her in at once. Also made torquing all the top components a breeze.

may or may not be an issue for you.

butt,

I find it easiest to start the manifold bolts before you torque the cylinders to the cases.

just start them, not finish them til later.............
