Sounds like a ripper! I think soft 02 has been in your ear too!

Will be fun to kept track of your progress, keep the pics coming and tell us anything that you learn that might help educate us.

Yep, it would be interesting to see your parts/price list of your build for others that maybe interested in a 124 beast.

MONSTER, did you get your roller rockers yet? If not have you thought about getting the S&S 1.725:1 ratio instead of the stock 1.625:1.....it would bump your lift to over 600, 615 I believe while still having 585 cam specs.

Engine builds can be a lot of fun although my only experience has been with race engines (i.e. 360cid automobile engines for local NASCAR racing). I was always intrigued with the idea of putting one of those race engines in a street rod but it didn't make a lot of sense to spend $15,000 for a 600 bhp normally aspirated small block engine that wouldn't even idle below 2,000 rpm for the street. I did love the sound you get from a high lift and long duration cam though and racing it was awesome.

Have a lot of fun with the build because it is a lot of fun to build an engine based upon what you want for any reasons you might have. I also look forward to you posts on this build project.

Yea I already bought them. I was originally going to do the 107 with dme 598 cams so I bought the 1.625 rollers. It's all good tho I think the 585 with standard rockers will be plenty

Well soft02 certainly didn't try and talk me out of it haha. Yea I'll post plenty of pics. I was going to take a bunch when I pulled the motor but honestly I was winging it so I don't want to give people incorrect procedures on doing that haha

No doubt those 585's are a bad *** setup, but just a thought if you didn't buy the rollers yet. Those 1.725's are on my wish list once heads come back off. Gonna be killer either way.

One thing I have to disagree with you on is that I have learned that it's never enough, even though I keep telling myself that LOLOLOL

Why u thinking of selling the TMax for TTS? Why not just take it in and get the TMax finelly tuned? Since you already have the TMax it can do the same plus more than the TSS.

Lookin forward for you to get'er running. Those 124's sound amazing!
