Default Changing Bent Forward controls?

Ok so I am working on a 2011 Street Bob and the forwards are bent. I have the replacements but I need to swap the brake lever to the new forwards. However for the life of me I cannot get the bolt out that runs through the peg and holds the lever on. Am I missing something? I snapped my bit trying to and I dont want to strip the bolt. Ideas?

Not missing anything. The bolt should back right out. You said forwards are bent. Where are they bent? Maybe the bolt is bent.

They are bent at the elbow. The bolt looks ok but could have a very slight bend. Anyone know the size of that bolt? May as well just replace it.

ya know, there are more than one kind of HD forwards and many more aftermarket types...a photo of yours would make it easier to understand your problem.

Found the issue. It's bent right at the tip of the bolt lol. I'm just going to drill it out and replace the bolt.

You could always try to use an impact hammer with an impact bit. I've used this in the past an option prior to drilling out a stuck bolt since that's sometimes a pain. WD40/PB Blaster the heck out of it and smack it with an impact hammer and good luck!
