I did some easy mods on my new Dyna today
I did some real easy mods on my new Dyna today.
Flames foot pegs, shifter peg, and brake pedal.
Skulls headlight visor and tail light visor
Drag specialties lay down license plate bracket and chrome license plate frame
Flames hand grips
Also helped my son with his Sporty. We added:
New billet foot pegs and shifter peg
Chrome ignition cover
and a pain in the azz headlight faring. I wasn't thrilled with the concept, but it looks good and he likes it.
Stuff looks great and was very easy to do.
I'm tuckered out. Dang headlight faring [:@] Pass me a beer.

Yes this is the one I installed. My only issue was the supplied screws for the lic. plate were too long. Looks good, I used the smaller rubber offset pad.

Sinkin, is this the layback license plate mount you got? DS-720814. Trying to decide between this and the new Harley one and wondering about the quality of this one.

I just installed the one from Harley. Purchased it along with a Harley chrome frame. I love the way it looks, but wished I seen the one from Drag Specialties first. The Harley bracket is not drilled for screw. It comes with four studs which are mounted to adhesive backed pads. Ain't real sure how long it will be before my plate falls off going down the road..

Thanks for the feedback on the Drag license plate mount, Sinkin and Mat. FWIW, Kuryakyn also hasit as#9165 for $39.99. The Drag part, DS-720814, is $26.95.
Harley has a new one (60280-07)this year that looks better than the old one (59817-00). The old one is the one that has the adhesive pads, I hadit on a Sportster in 2002. I think I'll get the new Harley one.

I just installed the Harley one but didn't like the idea of the self adhesive bolts either so I used self adhesive velcro stips stuck to the inside of the frame and the back of the plate, it has held really well so far even on the bumpy crap that passes for roads in Scotland and has the added advantage that I can swap over to the legal UK size plate in seconds if necessary.
