Default Having rear shocks on '07 Bob cut 1/2 inch

I just don't have 400.00 for a pair of 11.5 inch Prog. 440s, which I know will bring the 'Bobdown to whereI want it...very subtle difference from stock height, but enough of a difference for my taste....

I'm having Skullman do it... Just wondering if anyone has had their shocks cut by him?

Also, hewas concernedwhether the '07 shocks on the 'Bob wereair shocks, or not? ...I told him I didn't think so...Is this accurate?

j s, Dan the Skullman cut a set of WideGlide shox for me. One inch.

He did a good job.

Extremely quick service.

If I remember correctly, cost was somewhere between 60-80 bux - incl the shipping.

Skullman did my shocks over 2 years ago, went from 12.5" to 11.5", the ride didn't suffer too bad, but for $69.00 + shipping, what a bargain. If Progressive sold 11.5" 412 shocks for the FXD, I'd buy a pair, but they don't for the late model Dynas.

...that's what i'm saying DGlide.... 11.5 is the perfect drop, i think....if Prog made the 412s in that size, i'd have them

My 11" heavy duty dont compress as much as the Standards and the ride height is about the same maybe a little lower as the 11.5 418's.. With the standards I couldnt see the sidewall. Heavy duty I can just start to see the side wall. But for the differance in theperformance and rideover the stock shocks, It was worth it..
