I have the Bike Barn and it works great! You can just drive up to the barn and fold over the cover and not worry about heat from the motor. It's more money than a regular cover but it does keep the elements off better. I had a regular cover and the rain would pool around where the elastic bottom was around the bike. Any waterproof motorcycle cover with the heat protection around the bottom will work if you just need a cover that won't melt. I used HD's brand of covers and they were just fine and lasted a couple of years.

I have the Harley one. It's a two-tone black/silver cover. Apparently the silver part has aluminized content on the inside so you can put it on when it's hot, but I don't fully trust it. I let mine cool off before I cover it up either way. I've had it a year and a half and it is under a roofed part of a shed but open on 3 sides. I have no complaints with it. But if yours is completely uncovered then you might want to look into something a little more durable. Mine is only "water resistant" not water proof I believe.

Be careful with using waterproof covers in wet weather. Had one bike rust quite a bit although it was always covered with a good quality waterproof cover. Apparently after a rain the water vapor would rise off the pavement into the cover. Then it couldn't escape the waterproof cover and just rusted out things. Maybe removing the cover after every rainstorm would have helped.
