looks good Bronk -
what seat you got? does it change your riding position compared to stock? thanks.
Badlander seat which has been replaced with a stock lowrider.I could not ride on the badlander for more than 30 min and my back was killing me.Lowrider seat is more comfy for me, and it seems it places me at a better angle for using the forward controls.Laydown plate is 3 hole and mounts up nie and tight to the fender.

Thanks - thought it looked thicker than the Badlander - maybe just the camera angle. I have a Badlander as well - so I know what you mean. It hurts my back just lookin at it!

Steelcowboy, I got the laydown radius plate from Zanotti which lookslike the one from J&P, but a whole lot cheaper. I think the one you found on E-Bay won't look half as nice as the J&P,and theJ&P one is about a half inch from the fender, It looks awsome. They fit perfect

I had a vision earlier and realized something all these plate holders had one problem in common they are all chrome and anyone who's looked at my bike Will see I'm not that into that scene so I took another look at the old one again and had an idea I got out my trusty hammer and started beating the hell out of it so it was flat cut off the little tang off the top and deburred the edge a little. I'm about to hit it with some flat paint here when it dries I'm gonna take a cpl pics of it on and off the bike. I like the idea so far of just the plate kind floating there. I'd like ya'lls opinions on it later tonight.

Heres the semi finnished product. Paints not yet dry and its not that smooth I tried to hit it with the media blaster but it was broke and I'm too lazy to sand it to be honest lol. It should be dry by the time I finnish dinner and I'll put it on and let ya'll critique me. Be easy on me this went from idea to reality in about 3 hours so I didn't get too crazy with the little touches or anything.
