New to the Dyna family
Hello All - Purchased my first Dyna last week, a 2012 Super Glide Custom, midnight pearl/silver pearl, 1700 miles, stage 1 upgrade with Vance & Hines big radius 2-2, sissy bar. The bike is in mint condition and the previous owner's loss was my gain at a price of $10,600. I was able to put about 200 miles on it this weekend and LOVE this bike.
Already doing upgrades, with first being a detachable windshield from the MoCo. Made a big difference in this weekend's 50-60 degree weather. Next is to extend the mid controls out 2" with a MoCo kit like the new Low Riders are fitted with. I tried the forwards on the WG and they aren't for me. At first, I wasn't quite sure about the loudness of the V&H's pipes so I ordered a BCT quiet baffle kit. I may forego this mod, as the tone and dB level is growing on me.
Happy to be on this board with all you Dyna riders.

Welcome! After owning three baggers, I traded my Road King for a new Super Glide Custom. I absolutely love the bike. Been riding since 1968, and lost the joy of riding with the baggers. Now it's back with the Super glide. No windshield for me though, had enough of that. I went for a 170 mile ride last weekend, and didn't miss a windshield one bit.
