I ride my Harley to work and the salt water comes right off the beach. I hose it off when I get home, is that good or bad?

 

absolutely the right thing to do, salt not good on metal. I'd be waxing also prior to parking there.

 

pig spit once a month, wd40 will work so will silicone but spit is best.
Yea to rinsing it off every day. Don't use harsh dish washing detergent,
